After proving to be extremely successful last summer, Time Out London is reopening the city's first ever cinema on the River Thames. Time Out Live have created a magical experience by combining the joys of cruises and movies together to make the perfect night out in London.
For five nights a week, from mid-June to early September, Time Out will board a group of people, ages 18 and older, on a cruise by the Tower of London for a sunset ride. They will go through Tower Bridge and east toward Isle of Dogs and Greenwich. When the sun sets, passengers will settle down for a movie under the stars on the open-air deck of the Alpha, surrounded by the beautiful lit up city.
On board, the cruise consists of a fully stocked bar featuring a variety of drinks and snacks. The cruise provides all the amenities needed to have an amazing night.
The cruise boards at 8pm, and at 9pm the movie will start. Depending on the movie, the night will most likely end around 11pm. Time Out Live presents Movies on the River with City Cruises are on sale now from £29 – which includes both the sunset cruise on the Thames and the open-air movie screening.
Showcasing an amazing pick of flicks, expect to see movies ranging from the London-themed favorites including ‘Mary Poppins’ and ‘Notting Hill,’ to the Disney classics including ‘Finding Nemo’ and ‘The Little Mermaid,’ to the loved romantic movies, both old and new, including ‘Get Out’, 'Three Billboards' and ‘La La Land’.
